ALL THINGS HORROR - First stop on Etheria World Tour

LITTLE LAMB will be playing at the Somerville Theatre in Boston Massachusetts on December 13th and 14th.

For the third consecutive year, All Things Horror is proud to be the North East screening partner of the Etheria Film Night. Founded by Heidi Honeycutt as an offshoot of the Viscera Film Festival, Etheria was created as a short film showcase for the talented women working in the science fiction and fantasy genres. This year the festival folds horror back into the mix as the fest embraces a multitude of subgenres while staying true to its mission of promoting women working in the film industry.

This year the festival packs a doozie of a lineup, including the New England premiere of Axelle Carolyn's gothic, supernatural romance SOULMATE. Ms. Carolyn's next project is the recently announced Tales Of Halloween anthology, coproduced by Darren Bousman (Saw III – V, The Devil's Carnival”) and Neil Marshall (Dog Soldiers, The Descent) so I would expect to hear massive things from her in the comings months.

Etheria whittled down hundreds of submissions in order to present the absolute best and most entertaining lineup for the short film program. This year's touring lineup includes the following:

JELLY WRESTLER
HIDE & SEEK
DAWN
YOU, ME & HER
SERPENT'S LULABYE
113 DEGREES
LITTLE LAMB

The Etheria Film Night runs on Saturday December 13th beginning at 7pm with a special encore presentation on Sunday the 14th at 2pm.

Redefining Horror at the Seen & Heard Film Festival - Melbourne

Little Lamb has been officially selected to screen at the Seen and Heard Film Festival in Melbourne at ACMI (Australian Centre for Moving Image) on Saturday November 15th at 9pm as part of the session Redefining Horror: A Short Film Showcase.  The session is A selection of outstanding short films from the Stranger With My Face Horror Film Festival, which highlights exciting new work from women directors in Australia and around the world.

Deriving its name from the young adult novel by Lois Duncan, Stranger With My Face Horror Film Festival explores the idea of ‘the horror within’ and promotes discussion around genre and gender. It originated as a response to Women in Horror Month, an international movement celebrating the work of women in what remains a heavily male-dominated corner of pop culture.

The films selected range from the subtle and psychological to the grotesque and gore-tastic, in recognition of the breadth of the genre and how women interpret it. Are horror films by women really so different? Is “female-response horror” actually a thing? Make up your own mind. Whatever else they may be, these are films to get the blood pumping and the mind reeling!

It's super cool to be able to announce our International Premiere of Little Lamb at Fantastic Fest 2014 - the biggest international genre film festival in the USA. Little Lamb has been handpicked by curator Kier-La Janisse for the line up of FANTASTIC SHORTS 2014...

"In the true tradition of the European ‘fantastique,’ this collection of shorts interweaves the diverse strands of science fiction, fantasy, horror and surrealism to explore themes of parenthood, ritual and religious iconography, all culminating in a show-stopping short from that cosmic brain-trust known as the Jodorowsky family. "

Little Lamb screened to a packed house at its World Premiere at Stranger With My Face Horror Film Festival. We were awarded an Honourable Mention Award in the Australian Shorts Competition, with heated debate from the judges between Little Lamb and Best Shorts Winner Kingdom of Doug. We received an awesome reaction from the audience, who overwhelmingly were scared by our tense, edge of your seat film. Thanks to #SWMF2014 for selecting our film for its premiere screening on Tasmanian soil, allowing cast and crew to attend.
